# Marketing Manager ## About the Role The Marketing Manager will lead the development and delivery of strategic marketing initiatives that support business growth, strengthen brand positioning and enhance customer engagement across residential and commercial markets. The role will focus on brand development, market segmentation, channel strategy, lead generation and sales enablement, ensuring marketing activity delivers measurable commercial value. This is a hands-on role requiring a commercially minded marketer who can translate business objectives into effective campaigns, content and customer engagement programmes. ## Key Responsibilities ### Marketing Strategy & Brand * Develop and implement marketing plans aligned to business objectives and growth priorities. * Support brand development and positioning across target markets. * Develop compelling messaging that supports customer acquisition, retention and engagement. * Ensure marketing activity aligns with commercial and customer strategies. ### Campaigns & Customer Engagement * Plan, deliver and optimise integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. * Develop customer engagement initiatives that strengthen brand awareness and support growth. * Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements to maximise ROI. * Support customer communications, promotional activity and product launches. ### Content & Sales Enablement * Develop marketing collateral, presentations, case studies, digital content and campaign assets. * Create sales support materials that assist commercial teams in winning and retaining customers. * Ensure content is customer-focused, consistent and aligned with brand standards. ### Stakeholder & Agency Management * Work closely with commercial, customer, operational and digital teams to deliver joined-up marketing activity. * Manage external agencies and suppliers to ensure quality delivery within agreed timelines and budgets. * Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the business. ### Performance & Improvement * Track and report on key marketing metrics. * Analyse customer, market and campaign insights to identify opportunities for improvement. * Continuously optimise activity to maximise commercial impact. ## Candidate Profile * Commercially focused and customer-oriented. * Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills. * Organised, collaborative and able to manage multiple priorities. * Results-driven with a focus on measurable outcomes. ## Knowledge, Skills & Experience * Third-level qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline. * Proven marketing experience, ideally within energy, utilities, technical services or another commercial sector. * Experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns that support lead generation and business growth. * Strong copywriting, content creation and communication skills. * Experience developing sales enablement materials and supporting commercial teams. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert insights into actions. * Experience managing agencies and external suppliers is desirable.
