Today, businesses rely on multiple disconnected tools to create content, schedule posts, analyse performance, and manage their online presence. Our mission is to bring all of this together into one intelligent, seamless ecosystem. Our platform will allow users to: • Create content using AI • Optimise posts for each social platform • Schedule and publish across multiple channels • View analytics and performance insights • Build a personalised AI model (“Train Your Lion”) that learns their tone and style We are currently building the MVP that will be used to secure investment. The founding team includes product, UX, frontend, and advisory support — and we are now looking for a backend engineer to lead the technical foundation of the platform. The Role We are looking for a highly capable Backend Engineer to join the founding team and take ownership of the backend architecture. This is a hands‑on role where you will design, build, and scale the core systems that power the product. You will work closely with the product manager, UX team, and frontend developers to bring the platform to life and ensure it is secure, scalable, and investor‑ready. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be part of a true early‑stage build, influence technical direction, and grow into a long‑term leadership position. Key Responsibilities Architecture & System Design • Design the backend architecture for the MVP and future platform • Make decisions on monolith vs microservices, queues, storage, and scalability • Ensure the system is secure, reliable, and maintainable Backend Development • Build APIs and backend services • Integrate with social media platforms (OAuth, secure token handling) • Implement scheduling, publishing, and analytics logic • Integrate AI models for content generation and personalisation Security & Compliance • Ensure GDPR‑compliant data handling • Implement secure authentication and authorisation • Identify and mitigate architectural risks Collaboration • Work closely with frontend and UX teams • Provide technical guidance and challenge assumptions where needed • Contribute to documentation for investors and internal planning Ownership • Take responsibility for backend direction and quality • Help shape engineering culture and standards • Support the transition from MVP to scalable product Required Skills & Experience • Strong backend engineering experience (Python, Node.js, Go, or similar) • Experience designing scalable architectures • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Strong understanding of OAuth, API security, and token management • Experience with queues, schedulers, and async processing • Ability to work independently and make strong technical decisions • Good communication and problem‑solving skills Nice to Have • Experience integrating AI/ML models • Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration • Experience building social media integrations • Prior startup or founding‑team experience • Cybersecurity knowledge What We Offer • Founding‑team equity • Ownership of backend architecture • Opportunity to shape a product from the ground up • A collaborative, ambitious, and supportive team • Flexibility and autonomy • A meaningful role in building a company from zero to scale
